Pongo Agrestynki at Risley

I have always liked the French bulldog a small dog with a big personality. It took some time to find the dog of choice. Darius Matusiak had a litter on the ground, the puppy recommended just did not appeal to me so I with my very limited knowledge of the breed decided to go with my gut choice a brindle dog puppy.

Simba arrived at Crufts  in 2017 and joined the Risley gang , he was totally unphased by the vizsla and actually would try to put them in their place. He is a sweet dog, very interested in all that is going on and my protector ...

Simba was shown lightly in Ireland gaining a green star and BOB. We decided to send him over to Ben Hines to be shown for a few months, and we have been amazed by the results Ben has achieved with Simba.

He has been shown sparingly never without being placed. He is sitting on the French bulldog leader board at no 10 at the minute, eligible for invitation to their premier show.

Simba does Crufts 2019

Simba was entered in post grad class at Crufts, we were delighted when we got the news that he had taken 1 st place in this huge class gaining his stud book number, and Crufts qualified for life.

Our thanks to Ben Hines for handling and preparing Simba for the ring. He has a few more shows in the UK before returning home to Ireland. Darcey I’m sure will be delighted to see him home again.

Given this was our first French bulldog I made it my business to look into health testing. Simba has been health tested through the French bulldog club UK and has completed his bronze and silver he will be gold tested on his return home.
